What is covered by your Benefit card?

Your Benefit card puts money in your pocket to shop for eligible products. Check your plan or your payment provider websites for a complete list of what's available to you. Or call the number on the back of your card. We look forward to seeing you in our stores!

Nutritious foods

Many Benefit cards cover groceries such as fruits and vegetables, or other nutritious foods like fish, poultry, meat, and seafood; most dairy products; and soups and salad kits.

Over-the-counter medications

Some eligible items may include over-the-counter health and wellness care like pain & allergy relief; cold and flu products; and dental, eye, and ear products.

Vitamins & supplements

Some wellness products like vitamins and supplements may be covered. Check with your plan or provider for a complete list of what’s covered.

What is a Benefit card?

Benefit cards are pre-loaded by major health plans (including Medicare and Medicaid), employers, and local programs with funds to spend on approved items.

How do you use it?

You can swipe most Benefit cards like a charge card. If your Benefit card has a barcode the cashier will it scan like a coupon. You can use your Benefit card at any ACME Markets store.
